Post Still not able to choose your own installation location.
Hello,

What i disliked from day 1 after the release of this scenery is that i'm not free/able to choose my own installation location without problems.
Until version 1.12 the scenery was installed in C:\users\myPC\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons.
And now with the new installer v.1.2 the installation location is: C:\Program Files\Pilot Experience Sim\LFMT Airport
But I don't want to have any scenery on my C:\ disk.!!!!
Just like a lot of other flightsimmers.
And of course i can change the location by myself by replacing it and edit the location in the add-on.xml but i think that the updater won't work anymore.
So please change this situation and let the costumer decide where he wants to install a scenery.
I've a lot of P3DV4 sceneries and LFMT is the only one with this system.

Best regards,
Ad Ording

Hello,
We have change location as definitive to prepared to the next PESIM products.
This is just impossible to offer a online update system and let choose the location to the users.
We are hard core simmers before all, we understand your question.
We don't want the users touch the source files or change anything.
There is no reason to touch our files. If you do it online updates wil not work and we will not give support in case of issues.
This is clearly explained on user manual.
We do like we think it the best for our system to be securised and operational at the best for users and online updates as well as global working.
We are not the only one to do that.
We have worked hard to separate online updates and do a setup who can work with our system.I remember you asked for that.
After all , what the matter to have a program installed in a Program folder (exept save some space) , clearly not win perfomances.
We hope you can enjoy it like this.
Best regards.
Kem
